Work Experience

  • Promoter and CEO-Techaviom Finance Pvt Ltd- Providing loans to customer profiles traditionally neglected by formal banking institutions. Credit Underwriting of informal workforce to determine loan eligibility.
  • Co- Founder in M/s Greenaviom Private Limited -Opened a plastic recycling facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat with the capacity to process 100 tonnes of plastic waste per month. Providing Waste Management solutions to bulk waste generators, for example- Corporates, Housing Societies, Hotel and Restaurant Chains, Universities, etc.
  • NITI Aayog (Planning Commission of India)- Worked in NITI Aayog's health department which formulates policies related to Indian healthcare. Lead a survey of approximately 500 doctors nationwide to understand their view on the Clinical Establishments (Registrations and Regulation) Act 2010. Lead a project on human resource availability in the Indian healthcare system. Understood policy-making and regulatory compliance from a first-hand perspective through participation in strategic meetings including ministers and bureaucrats.
  • Capital 4 Development Partners (C4D) · Amsterdam, Netherlands- Conducted empirical research on Capital 4 Development (C4D) Asia fund's potential impact investment opportunities in target countries-India, Indonesia and Philippines. Independently deployed research methods, presented and interpreted empirical data in a concise manner. Presented a report on Philippines' Fast-moving consumer goods sector; popular Filipino goods and brands worldwide; target countries for export; and successful export consolidators in Philippines.
  • Habitat for Humanity International- Led a climate finance study to enhance Habitat for Humanity’s understanding of the impact investment market and influenced Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter’s strategy for working with financial institutions in this segment. The objective of the study was to understand trends and opportunities in the climate finance sector and evaluate how access to financing for such solutions could help low-income families improve their resilience to climate change along with constructing better quality homes.
  • Foundation Nationale des Sciences Politiques (FNSP)- Paris, Ile-de-France- Assisted prominent French Political Scientist Mr. Christophe Jaffrelot in his work. Analysed issues such as implementation of public policy recommendations in the Sachar Committee Report .
  • NDTV- Transcribed for weekly show ‘Truth vs Hype’ which highlighted the most current controversial issues in the country.
  • Oxus Investments Private Limited- Worked with renowned economist Surjit Bhalla, Executive Director for India at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and renowned Indian Express columnist.Managed a project on the affordable housing shortage in Indian urban areas.
  • Amnesty International India- Worked on poverty alleviation programme and human rights awareness.
